You’re thinking about this too individualistically. Sure, Black people can be mean. Yeah, Black people can be prejudice. But as far as benefiting from a systematic construction of oppression such as race, and therefore, being racist, people of color are simply incapable of doing so.
Here is a quick quote that explains it well: “It really can’t be said enough: Racism against white people cannot exist in America (unless we go back in time and flip the switch on the European colonization of natives and trans-continental slave trade and make it so that those things and the subsequent years of systemic oppression of people of color never happened).”
