Hi Tamara. Thanks for the read. I see that this piece also struck you as well. Like I said to the above commenter, these are my opinions and I am welcome to them as you are welcome to yours.

What I think is particularly funny is that when a person of color comes out and tells a white person that something that is happening within culture, not specific to them but is occurring none the less, is problematic. Then that white person reacts by attacking the person of color instead of responding with thought and consideration. Fragility is a funny thing and I believe that if white people weren’t so fragile, they would see the point of the piece. Also that maybe it’s a little strange being on this side of the argument as a person of color having a white person attempt to dictate how I feel about a problematic behavior.
