Seeing as though the majority of hate crimes go unreported and those that are reported rarely see the level of attention Jussie received, I would say its incredibly rare. Jussie didn't make anyone a laughing stock, dear. No good human laughs at others being compassionate. Only the worst humans do that.

Also, did you just call an entire community "‘community’ of low IQ liars and grifters, too dumb to even properly pull off the scam."? Do you really believe that? About an ENTIRE community? If you actually do, there is a word for that and you've outed yourself.
