How #ItsAboveMeNow became a master class in the consequences of Hatred

I don’t typically write about viral moments that happen across social media (because why, who has the time, and there are a few thousand things more important to discuss than the latest dance craze or cat video). However, the moment we are about to discuss is important for several reasons and proves the importance of not being a racist and thinking you should receive service from the people to whom you were racist.

Twitter user Craig Friday of @NoFridayy shared a video that went viral where he calmly and professionally refused service to a White Woman who called him a racial slur before coming in to book her stay at the Holiday Inn where he worked. Apparently earlier, said woman called the Holiday Inn and she and Craig exchanged words that resulted in the woman calling Craig a “f*cking n*gger.”

There were so many moments in this 1-Minute clip that were very teachable. Here is my breakdown:
