Other than that, this entire message is giving colonizer. Not sure if that’s what you were intending but that’s what what it reads as.

Your entire point negates the very real criticism from members of the community Buck wrote this book about, which if we are honest, reads like old National Geographic observances of animals and not dynamic and complicated human beings.

Black women don’t want to hear from anyone other than Black women when it comes to Black women, academic or other wise.

Perhaps, instead of being focused on the RIGHT to write about communities she’s not a part of, perhaps Buck would have done better to consider if she SHOULD.
