This is the type of divisive rhetoric that keeps people of color from telling the truth. I actually love Aggretsuko. But the truth is the Monkey/ Ape/Simian thing is actually a thing and to ignore it because I like the show would do a disservice to my people.

As far as the “black agenda” apparently I missed that meeting, could you tell me what it is and why an animated tv show is on it?

While we are answering questions, could you tell me why you were more triggered about a comment on an animated series than the actual point of the piece, which is the dangerousness of stereotypes to people of color?
